Year 1 Mrs Taylor

Learning in Year One!

We have been blown away by all of the Year 1 children's enthusiasm and determination this term. They have all made a confident start to the year with some wobbles along the way which have helped build a resilient and positive learning attitude. Now we are secure with the routines and timetables in Key Stage 1 we are excited to start some new learning.

Over the next term the children will be taking on some more structured challenges and we will be encouraging them to take ownership of their learning. Our new topic will be 'Dinosaurs' and there will lots of exciting opportunities to explore this period of history.

Throughout the year, many photographs will be uploaded onto this page to keep you informed on your child's progress and learning. You will see regular updates as we continue our learning journey and you can enjoy the excitement with us! We will capture those memorable moments for you to see on here and on our Twitter page: @firsprimarysale.

Each morning and afterschool, both myself and Mrs Leigh are always available if you would like to discuss anything about your child and their learning. Alternatively, you can contact the school office if you would like to arrange an appointment.

Thank you for your continued support!
