Year 2 Mrs Johnson

Welcome to Year 2!

Welcome to the 2SJ webpage. This wepage will keep you updated about all of the exciting things we are learning each term.  In Year 2, we work hard, help each other and always try our very best.  We sometimes have wobbles, learn from our 'oopses' and always rise to a challenge.

Everybody in Year 2SJ has  already made a great start and worked extremely hard, making progress daily.  I am sure that this will continue throughout the year and the children will have fun learning lots of new things and growing their brains.

Please help us in school by remembering the following:

  • Please ensure your child brings in their PE kit throughout the week this includes: top, shorts and PE pumps.
  • To boost your child’s reading ability, we ask that you read with your child every night.
  • Homework is given out on a Friday and is due in at the latest on Wednesday, but is welcome back in anytime before then!
  • For additional home learning children have access to Mathletics with individual usernames and passwords which will be found in the children's reading records.  There is a link to the Mathletics website below.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch!
