New Reception Parents 2020/2021

Welcome to all of our new Reception pupils

Due to the current situation we have adapted our transition process for children entering Reception. We will use this page to share key information with you.

Please take the opportunity to share the videos and pictures with your child to ease any worries they may have about starting Reception. Worries are completely normal and hopefully the following documents will support you and your child. As well as using the documents you could also walk past Firs Primary, to show them their new school.

I hope you enjoy looking through the videos, pictures and presentations. We will be adding items in the forthcoming weeks, so please check back to see if new items have been added.

We also have a Firs Early Years YouTube channel where you can watch stories read by myself and Miss Curbishley.

We really appreciate your understanding at this time of uncertainty.

I look forward to meeting you all soon,

Mrs Pentith

Reception Parent Presentation

We hope that you will find the presentation useful. It will hopefully answer the questions you may have about school routines, uniform and how you can help your child get ready for Reception.

Reception Transition Story

We have created this document for your child. Please look at it together and talk about the pictures. Can they see things they like? Are they excited about wearing a new uniform?
