I hope you are all enjoying some very precious quality time with your loved ones, making lots of lovely memories and taking advantage of the sunshine while you can. It might be tempting to take it easy for the next few weeks but I would be extremely impressed if you could dedicate a little bit of your time to some home learning too!
I have given you a suggested timetable below to give you some ideas or guidance of ways to spend your time. With all of this time on your hands, could it be the perfect chance to master something you have been aspiring to achieve? Could you learn a new skill or discover one of your hidden talents? It is extremely important to keep your brain active and relish in learning opportunities because I know you are all eager to succeed in everything you do.
I am missing you all very much but I am excited to hear about the fabulous fun you are all having at home. I honestly can't wait to hear what memories you have all made and I am eager to see all of your lovely faces in the very near future.
Stay safe and look after one another, sending my best wishes to you and your families.
This week we would like you to recap on anything that you are still unsure about. Maybe you're having a wobble with telling the time or want to practise methods of subtraction again?
We have attached a list of useful links for you to access online lessons and resources for all subjects. We hope you enjoy exploring the fun activities.
Post card challenge!

Go-To Art Activities
Here are a range of fun Art activities that you can try out at home!
Learning in 1PL...
During Year 1 so far, all children have shown effort and determination which are the qualities they need to fulfil their potential. The excellent start they have made to the academic year will support them to flourish throughout the rest of Year 1. Throughout the rest of the Spring term, every child will have the chance to learn, develop and grow whilst welcoming further challenges. We are looking forward to this very exciting half-term ahead, filled with many creative topics.
Our topic for the half-term is ‘Travel and Transport’. We will be going on a fun, educational visit to Manchester Airport Viewing Park on Thursday 19th March 2020. We are all extremely excited about this visit and we are looking forward to enriching each child's learning during the day.
Throughout the year, many photographs will be uploaded onto this page to keep you informed on your child's progress and learning. You will see regular updates as we continue our learning journey and you can enjoy the excitement with us! We will capture those memorable moments for you to see on here and on our Twitter page: @firsprimarysale.
Each morning and afterschool, both myself and Miss Drinkwater are always available if you would like to discuss anything about your child and their learning. Alternatively, you can contact the school office if you would like to arrange an appointment.
Thank you for your continued support.
Miss Lockham (Class Teacher) and Miss Drinkwater (Teaching Assistant)
