Bubble Closure

Hello Year Ones smiley

During this period of closure it is important to make sure pupils' education is minimally impacted. We have prepared work to enjoy during your time at home to continue the fantastic progress you have made in year one.

Below is a suggested timetable of the upcoming week beginning 28.09.20. Guidance, lessons and resources will be uploaded here daily which includes Phonics, Literacy, Maths, our topic Food Glorious Food and Well-being. Please also refer to our 'Distance learning' page for more activities.

In addition, as a school we have invested in a number of online learning platforms across the curriculum to help keep our student's brains engaged. All children have access to Bug club, Mathletics and Times Tables Rock Stars.  If you do not have a login or experience any difficulties using these please email us for assistance.

We look forward seeing you again soon. Enjoy your time with your family and stay safe! heart

Bubble Closure Letter

Hello and welcome to all our year 1 children smiley

We are excited to welcome you all back to school. Your teachers have been busy planning lots of exciting new learning opportunities and topics for you to enjoy. During the first few weeks we will be focusing on your emotional wellbeing and exploring healthy minds to ensure you are happy at school. Once equipped with these skills we will embrace growth and encourage the oopses and wobbles that are necessary to challenge yourselves and grow your brains.

On this page will share some of the exciting things we have been learning about and you can see photographs of the hard work we produce. We hope you enjoy it!

Check out our twitter page @firsprimarysale and search #Year1KT

You will find plenty of online resources below to help your children consolidate their learning at home.

We have plenty more exciting challenges this term and I am sure that your children will be eager to share what they have done in class with you at home.

Please help us in school by remembering the following:

  • Monday- We will provide you with 2 reading books to share at home. If you want to do any further reading you can use your bug club login. At a later date home work will also be sent out on this day.
  • Friday- Your child should arrive at school wearing their PE kit. This includes: top, shorts and PE pumps. You must return all reading books, reading records and homework books.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch!
