Learning in Year One!

Another fantastic term complete! There have been many highlights including our Year 1 dinosaurs assembly and our trip to Manchester Airport. The children are now confidently storming their way into the Summer term. There have been some wobbles along the way but we continue to be proud of the positive learning attitude the children show.

Over the next term the children will be taking on some more structured challenges and we will be encouraging them to take ownership of their learning. Our new topic will be 'Mary Mary how does your garden grow?' and there will lots of exciting opportunities to develop some scientific learning.

Throughout the year, many photographs will be uploaded onto this page to keep you informed on your child's progress and learning. You will see regular updates as we continue our learning journey and you can enjoy the excitement with us! We will capture those memorable moments for you to see on here and on our Twitter page: @firsprimarysale.

Each morning and afterschool, both myself and Mrs Leigh are always available if you would like to discuss anything about your child and their learning. Alternatively, you can contact the school office if you would like to arrange an appointment.

Thank you for your continued support!
