Vision statement:

The vision of Firs Primary School is to create a safe, inclusive and respectful community that nurtures a lifelong love of learning, preparing our children for a world they know and a world they are yet to discover.

Our aim is to create a happy, friendly atmosphere within our school, where everyone can expect to be treated with courtesy, kindness and co-operation. We believe in enabling every individual, regardless of background, circumstance or ability to achieve their full potential and make positive contributions to society.  Through an extensive cultural capital offer and a broad and balanced curriculum which reflects our school community, we aim to inspire our children to believe in their dreams and foster a ‘Growth Mindset’.

Our school is united by everyone's dedication to maximising pupil's personal development and wellbeing, creating an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome.  We believe a happy child is a successful one, therefore at the heart of our aspirations we aim to promote emotional wellbeing and mental health for all.
