Y3 Maple

Welcome to Y3Maple

#Y3Maple

Welcome back Year 3 Maple!

Our class teacher is Mrs Griffiths & Ms Roche and we are supported by Mrs Kenneally and Mrs Ramic throughout the week.

Welcome to our Class Page. This is where you will see all of the fun and exciting things we are participating in this year. Year 3 is filled with engaging learning opportunities and brilliant adventures to enhance our learning.

Please find attached the curriculum newsletter for this half term, where you can discover all of our subject themes and how we plan to use high-quality texts to explore them.

We will keep this class page and SeeSaw updated with key information.

Thank you for your continued support.

Weekly Reminders

Each Monday, the children will have a Forest School lesson. We ask for their kit to be brought into school in a bag on this day. Children will change in the afternoon ready for their lesson.

Each Thursday, the children will have a PE lesson so we ask that children wear their PE kit to school on those days.

We ask that reading is recorded on SeeSaw atleast 3 times a week. Futher instructions are on SeeSaw.

Homework will be given out on Fridays and it will need to be completed by the following Wednesday.

Spellings will be sent at the beginning of each half term. Tests will also be on Wednesday mornings.

Please get in contact with us if you have any problems regarding home learning.

If there are changes to the weekly routine or any issues arise, please let us know by contacting school by phone or email.

Curriculum Overviews

Homework

Each half term, homework alternates between Maths and English tasks and a Home Learning Project. Maths homework is always set on MyMaths, and login details can be found at the front of your child’s homework book. English homework is usually completed on paper and stuck into the homework book. Home Learning Projects are linked to your child’s current humanities topic in school; pupils will complete three tasks to present to their class based on what they have been learning. This term, children will complete Maths and English homework during Summer 1, followed by a Home Learning Project in Summer 2.
