Hot Meals Service on Thursdays @ Sale West Community Centre
The Three Meem Foundation have re-started their free hot meal service at Sale West Community Centre every Thursday from 3.30pm-5pm.
Everyone is welcome at this community group, with no booking necessary.
Trafford Music Service - Extra-Curricular Music Lessons & Ensemble
We are looking to recruit some younger students into our ensembles and we have various opportunities that take place at the Claremont Centre Trafford Music Service, The Claremont Centre, Claremont Road, Sale, M33 7EF.
Students are very welcome to attend a free trial session (by prior arrangement) before joining the ensemble and can either email karen.swales@trafford.gov.uk or music.service@trafford.gov.uk.

The ensemble fees can be found here Price list & Invoice Dates | Trafford Music Service and are charged per term but there is a reduction applied to the lowest fees for siblings of children who are already an ensemble member, or if your child joins more than one of our ensembles.
Sale Sports Club - Summer Holiday Multi-Sports Camp @ Firs Primary School - 4 weeks from 29th July-23rd August 2024
Following the success of our Easter and Whit camps, we will be back hosting another Holiday Camp at Firs Primary School over the Summer holidays over a 4 week period!
Our Multi-Sports camps offer over 30 sports and activities to try for children aged 4 to 15 year olds at very competitive prices.
Children will be divided by age and ability to ensure an environment that encourages maximum skill development. Our coaches will be able to help children of all ages and abilities to gain self-confidence, social skills, make friends and have a memorable time.

Trafford Libraries - Summer Activities
As well as the vast range of books available to inspire all ages, there are numerous events taking place across the various libraries in Trafford this summer, and on an ongoing basis.
The Summer Reading Challenge is back! Get ready for a summer of reading, creativity and fun with the Marvellous Makers, a creative club who are making amazing things for a (fictional) festival at local libraries. More information is available here: https://summerreadingchallenge.org.uk/
There is also a weekly LEGO Brick Building Club every Saturday at lots of different libraries.

Sale Youth Choirs Summer Singing Week: 5th-9th August (Age 8-13)
Trafford Music Service are pleased to be hosting the Sale Youth Choirs Summer Singing Week, led by Matt Roughley, at the Claremont Centre in Sale in August.
The course is designed for children who love to sing which is led by a team of experts in working with young voices and musicians. All children will learn incredible new songs in different styles and languages alongside other talented and enthusiastic young singers. A carefully planned schedule of fun and engaging classes, workshops and rehearsals means that throughout the week our young singers will develop singing and musicianship skills, learn a wide range of repertoire, play fun singing games and work through inspiring musical activities.
The goal is to fill the students with confidence in their voices and new found musical skills which will then be showcased at the end of the week in a concert for family and friends to see. More details are available at:

Tactile Arts Summer Art Club - 19th & 20th August 2024 @ Sale Methodist Church
Tactile Arts work with primary schools to enhance children's creative learning - introducing them to a wide range of art forms and encouraging self expression, learning and enjoyment. This summer they are running a 2 day Art Club for children aged 5-11.
