Friday Night SEN Football Sessions - Access Sport

 

Access Sport hold weekly free football sessions for children aged 5-11 years with SEN. Details as follows:

 

  • Venue: Partington Sports Village, Chapel Lane, Partington, M31 4ES

  • Dates: Every Friday evening

  • Times: 5pm-6pm

  • Ages: Children aged 5-11 years

  • Price: FREE!

Sale Sports Club - Whit Holiday Multi-Sports Camp @ Firs Primary School: Tuesday 27th May - Friday 6th June 2025

 

Looking for something fun and exciting to do in the school holidays? Look no further than our fantastic Multi-Sport Camps. Through our network of qualified coaches and committed volunteers the club is able to offer all year round Multi-Sport camps to the community that promote sporting excellence for 4 to 15 year olds at very competitive prices. 

 

Children will be divided by age and ability to ensure an environment that encourages maximum skill development. Our coaches will be able to help children of all ages and abilities to gain self-confidence, social skills, make friends and have a memorable time. With over 30 sports and activities available, come and join the fun at our holiday camp!

 

  • Venue: Firs Primary School, Firs Road, Sale

  • Dates: Week 1: Tuesday 27th - Friday 30th May 2025 (N.B. not operating on Monday 26th due to the bank holiday) / Week 2: Monday 14th - Thursday 17th April 2025 (N.B. not operating on Friday 18th due to the bank holiday)

Our qualified gymnastics coaches will take care of your school holiday childcare needs with a fun and exciting gymnastics themed holiday club. We provide a healthy combination of sport, games and other activities to keep your children entertained all day long.

 

The holiday club combines a range of indoor and outdoor activities focused on, but not limited to, gymnastics. During your child’s time at the holiday club they will have the opportunity to:

 

  • Develop gymnastics ability

  • Use the Olympic trampoline

  • Participate in group games

  • And most importantly – make friends and have fun!

Stagecoach Performing Arts Urmston Summer Holiday Workshops @ Wellfield Juniors: Monday 28th July - Friday 15th August 2025

 

Stagecoach Urmston provide quality performing arts training to children, with the aim of nurturing and developing young potential through singing, acting and dancing classes. 

 

This summer, Stagecoach are excited to be running engaging and educational Summer Holiday Workshops in Sale across a 3 week period, with a different theme each week. The workshops are designed to provide run, enriching experiences for students age 5-6.

    • Monday 28th July - Friday 1st August --> Theme: Pirates & Mermaids

Hot Meals Service on Thursdays @ Sale West Community Centre

 

The Three Meem Foundation have re-started their free hot meal service at Sale West Community Centre every Thursday from 3.30pm-5pm.

 

Everyone is welcome at this community group, with no booking necessary.

 

Trafford Music Service - Extra-Curricular Music Lessons & Ensemble

 

We are looking to recruit some younger students into our ensembles and we have various opportunities that take place at the Claremont Centre Trafford Music Service, The Claremont Centre, Claremont Road, Sale, M33 7EF.

 

Students are very welcome to attend a free trial session (by prior arrangement) before joining the ensemble and can either email karen.swales@trafford.gov.uk or music.service@trafford.gov.uk.

Joining an ensemble has enormous benefits for young musicians, namely:

  1. Developing stronger rhythmic foundations
  2. Improved sight-reading skills
  3. Improved all-round musicianship skills
  4. Termly performance opportunities at prestigious venues, eg. Stoller Hall (Chetham’s School of Music)
  5. Developing confidence
  6. Social benefits- making music with like-minded peers
  7. Attending residential trips with Trafford Music Service (we had a wonderful residential trip to France in May 2023 and we are going to PGL in Preston in May 2024
  8. The Tuckshop!! Many pupils enjoy purchasing sweet treats from our infamous tuckshop during ensemble breaks.

 

Please contact Trafford Music Service via the above email addresses when you would like to attend a free trial session. If the session is enjoyable, we can arrange registration to the ensemble.

 

The ensemble fees can be found here Price list & Invoice Dates | Trafford Music Service and are charged per term but there is a reduction applied to the lowest fees for siblings of children who are already an ensemble member, or if your child joins more than one of our ensembles.
