Joining an ensemble has enormous benefits for young musicians, namely:

  1. Developing stronger rhythmic foundations
  2. Improved sight-reading skills
  3. Improved all-round musicianship skills
  4. Termly performance opportunities at prestigious venues, eg. Stoller Hall (Chetham’s School of Music)
  5. Developing confidence
  6. Social benefits- making music with like-minded peers
  7. Attending residential trips with Trafford Music Service (we had a wonderful residential trip to France in May 2023 and we are going to PGL in Preston in May 2024
  8. The Tuckshop!! Many pupils enjoy purchasing sweet treats from our infamous tuckshop during ensemble breaks.

Please contact Trafford Music Service via the above email addresses when you would like to attend a free trial session. If the session is enjoyable, we can arrange registration to the ensemble.

The ensemble fees can be found here Price list & Invoice Dates | Trafford Music Service and are charged per term but there is a reduction applied to the lowest fees for siblings of children who are already an ensemble member, or if your child joins more than one of our ensembles.
